Struck gold!

Many of our tomatoes suffered from blight this summer, so it was a treat to find this beauty nestled deep inside a plant that had not yet produced a single blossom (that we’d seen!) We made BLTs for lunch… We’ve clipped off most of the damaged foliage and are hoping for a late-season revival. Despite loads of attention to a dozen varieties we planted, the biggest crop has come from a volunteer “Husky Red”. Mother Nature wins again!
