Hide and Seek
Because we don’t use pesticides, we have lots of insect visitors in our garden. Some are welcome guests and others we ask our bouncers, (the lizards), to take care of. The other afternoon while our grandsons were visiting, we found two great examples of camouflage - the lizard blending in perfectly with the old railroad tie, and the praying mantis hiding in the green beans. Preferring to show off, this eastern tiger swallowtail butterfly posed long enough for me to capture a great photo!
