Summers last blast…

There was a distinct touch of fall in the air when I went to see how the new broccoli and cauliflower seedlings were looking this morning. Zucchini and cucumber vines are still producing although they look tired. And frankly we are just a little bit tired of thinking of new ways to use them! As I was heading in, I saw these beautiful blooms on our roses and couldn’t resist clipping them and snapping a quick picture. Unexpected gifts are the best kind!
